Jack Fogel is a designer and fabricator based in Oakland, CA who uses digital and analog fabrication methods to create prototypes, furniture, installations, and larger structures.
Born and raised in San Diego, Jack studied architecture and design fabrication at Carnegie Mellon University and completed graduate studies at the Architecture Association’s Design + Make program in the UK, engaging in experiments surrounding the collaboration of robotically machined timber joinery and non prescribed human assembly.
He has worked at Standard & Custom, LMNOP Design in San Francisco and is currently an in house designer/fabricator at David Baker Architecture.
In his free time, he likes to surf, hike and garden.
